# Match projects

> Create, configure, import, export, run, and manage Match projects in Zwiron.

Match projects hold the configuration used to match records on a table. The **Match projects** page lists every project in the organization with name, table, scoring mode, and latest run summary.

To open the list:

1. Select **Match → Projects** in the application sidebar.

Page actions on the list:

| Control | Purpose |
| - | - |
| **Review workspace** | Opens **Match → Review** |
| **Import config** | Create a project from exported JSON |
| **New project** | Open the create form |

Use the filter field to narrow the list by project name, table name, or scoring mode.

From each row you can:

* **Open** the project detail page
* **Run** a full match execution
* **Delta** start an incremental / lookup-style run (uses the project’s blocking index when configured)

<Note>
  **Run** and **Delta** start a Match run and navigate to that run’s results hub. They do not create a sync Job under **Data → Jobs**.
</Note>

## Create a Match project

To create a Match project:

1. Select **Match → Projects**.
2. Click **New project**.
3. Enter a **Name**.
4. Select a **Connection** and **Table** (the source table Match will read).
5. Optionally link a **Catalog table** when the form exposes that field (enables Know/Trust close-loop after write-back).
6. Add one or more **Blocking keys**. At least one blocking key is required.
7. Optionally set **Compare fields**, **Survivorship**, and **Auto-approve high-confidence groups** (with **Auto-approve threshold**).
8. Optionally apply a tightness preset (**Tight** / **Balanced** / **Loose**), then refine fields.
9. Optionally click **Show advanced scoring & write-back** to set blocking mode, scoring mode, destinations, overlap, and lookup on the same form.
10. Click **Create & run** to save and start a run immediately, or **Create only** to save without running.

Once saved, the project appears on **Match → Projects**. You can run it again from the list or from the project detail page.

<Note>
  Name, connection, table, and at least one blocking key are required. Without blocking keys, a project cannot be created or imported.

| **Advanced** | Full advanced scoring & write-back form |
| **Delta** (checkbox) | When checked, the run button becomes **Run delta**; otherwise **Full run** |
| **Full run** / **Run delta** | Execute match and open the run results hub |
| **Generate lookup** | Rebuild the blocking index used for delta / lookup matching |
| **Delete** | Permanently remove the project and its runs / groups / goldens |

The detail page also shows last execution summary, review output shortcuts (**For review**, **Reviewed**, **Unmatched**), explore links (**Pairs**, **Search**, **Clusters**), configuration summary, links history, and the **Runs** list.

## Import a Match project

You can create a project from an exported Match configuration JSON file.

To import:

1. Select **Match → Projects**.
2. Click **Import config**.
3. Choose a `.json` file previously downloaded via **Export config**.
4. Confirm. Zwiron creates a new project named with an `(imported)` suffix and opens its detail page.

<Note>
  The file must include at least `name`, `connection_id`, `table_name`, and a non-empty `blocking_keys` array. Invalid files are rejected. The imported `connection_id` must exist in the current organization.
</Note>

## Run a Match project

### From the list

1. Select **Match → Projects**.
2. Locate the project.
3. Click **Run** for a full execution, or **Delta** for incremental / lookup matching.

### From the project page

1. Open the project.
2. Leave **Delta** unchecked and click **Full run**, or check **Delta** and click **Run delta**.

When the run finishes, you land on the **run results hub** (`Results`) with counts and links into **For Review**, **Reviewed**, **Unmatched**, **Duplicates**, **Pairs**, **Uniques**, **Clusters**, and **Search**.

***

## Edit a Match project

1. Select **Match → Projects**.
2. Click the project name (or **Open**).
3. Click **Edit** for primary settings, or **Advanced** for extended configuration.
4. Save changes.

Changes apply to **subsequent** runs. Existing run results are not recalculated until you run again.

***

## Delete a Match project

1. Open the project.
2. Click **Delete**.
3. Confirm on the **Delete Match project** dialog.

<Note>
  Deleting a project permanently removes its runs, groups, and golden records. This cannot be undone.
