# Initiatives and goals

> Track governance strategy with initiatives and measurable goals under Know → More.

**Initiatives** and **Goals** are program surfaces under Know. Initiatives are top-level strategy programs. Goals are measurable targets that nest under initiatives; progress is stored as a percentage.

## Initiatives

1. Select **Know → More → Initiatives**.

1. Click **New initiative** to create a program.
2. Use the **Goals** shortcut on the list header to jump to the Goals list.

Empty list: **No initiatives yet** — *Create an initiative, then attach measurable goals.*

## Goals

1. Select **Know → More → Goals**.

1. Click **New goal**.
2. Link the goal to an initiative and set progress as required by the form.

Empty list: **No goals yet** — *Add a goal under an initiative to track progress.*
